The sultry heat of the summer night that mixed with the humidity of the place, made the pale moon look even more mysterious, as a shadow dressed in black stood beside the dark waters of the lake of Lethe.
The figure bent and stirred the water at the edge of the lakeshore with its hand.
He felt the cool, intoxicating water that was quenched with remembrance and oblivion. He then softly immersed a simple, silver necklace with a black triangular stone hanging from it into the lake. After some moments, he put it out of the water again.
